This Week in CTP – Compliance Webinar & Break the Chain of Tobacco Addiction Retailer Education Campaign Self-Mailer

CTP hosted a compliance training webinar Wednesday, November 7th, titled “CTP Compliance Update on Internet-Related Warning Letters.” CTP conducts routine surveillance of sales, distribution, marketing, and advertising activities related to regulated tobacco products on the Internet. We have issued Warning Letters to Internet tobacco retailers for violations of the Tobacco Control Act and its implementing regulations. The webinar provided an overview of these Warning Letters and some of the most common violations that have been identified to date.
