Lindane Shampoo and Lindane Lotion

The Food and Drug Administration has announced important updates to the labeling of Lindane Shampoo and Lindane Lotion for the treatment of scabies and lice. Lindane products can cause serious side effects for many reasons, even when used as directed.  It is important for patients and caregivers to understand how to properly use these products.  Lindane products should be prescribed carefully, and quantities prescribed should be limited to amounts for a single application.
