All vehicles must follow right-of-way rules to safely cross intersections. Right-of-way helps you decide who goes first at an intersection.

 Rules
First to Stop = First to Go.
Farthest Right Goes First.
Straight Traffic Goes First.
When in Doubt, Bail Out.

 Activity Handout
In small groups, determine who has the right-of-way and why, based on the three right-of-way rules:
- First to Stop = First to Go;
- Farthest Right Goes First; or
- Straight Traffic Goes First.

 Props
By cutting out the props, use the sample intersection to present the scenario and determine who has the right-of-way.
