NIH’s 2010 Acquisition Management Committee Symposium is titled “The Bugs are Getting Meaner, NIH Protecting the Nation’s Health.” That title was chosen by Carl Henn prior to his death. It will be held at the Chesapeake Hyatt near Cambridge, Maryland on November 1- 3, 2010. The conference is limited to NIH employees and registration is by your office chief providing a funding certification, while individual room registration is through the Hyatt’s website. You need to reserve your room, but your credit card will not actually be charged: https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_ei_new&eventID=2533999 . If you register after October 4th, you will need to contact Kim Doherty directly. DO NOT register through the hotel’s website, they need to track our registrations separately.

All briefings presented at the conference will be posted on the Conference web page after the close of the conference. As many as possible will be posted in advance of the symposium.- When to Arrive
The conference starts on Monday, November 1, 2010. Please refer to the Draft Agenda for all session start times.Registration: 7:30 to 8:55 am

The Conference sessions will end at 2:45 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Please make your travel plans accordingly.- Skills Currency Credit
