Improving Delivery of Colorectal Cancer Screening in Primary Care Practice

The September 2008 supplement to Medical Care 46(9), "Improving Delivery of Colorectal Cancer Screening in Primary Care Practice," includes 22 articles on promising strategies for improving colorectal cancer screening rates. The studies were funded over the past 5 years by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The supplement was guest-edited by David Lanier, M.D., of AHRQ, and Carrie N. Klabunde, Ph.D., of NCI.

Reprints of the supplement (AHRQ Publication No. 08-0111) are available from the AHRQ Publications Clearinghouse. Subscribers to Medical Care can read the full text of the articles online at http://www.lww-medicalcare.com/; guests can register to purchase articles or pay per view on the Web site. The table of contents below includes the titles of all 22 articles and provides links to the citations and/or abstracts in PubMed®, as well as links to summaries of AHRQ-supported or AHRQ-conducted studies.
