Search Engine Service

Search Engine Service is available to customers who want a customized sub-search for their websites. Along with a simple search results page, CIT provides you with an indexed collection of web pages based on your specified group of servers. Upon request, this service also offers Dynamic Result Clusters, an easy way to narrow users’ searches to focus on the desired search results and avoid irrelevant information.

Customer Benefits

Search Engine Service enables users to have a powerful search on their sites without incurring the cost of hardware, software, and staff to maintain the system. Having a search engine on your NIH website helps visitors find up-to-date information quickly and easily. You can customize your search page to give it a specific look and feel appropriate to your organization.

This service indexes your collection of web pages on a regular basis without disturbing your original documents. More than 90 NIH websites currently use this service.
