Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic (HVAC). Includes jobs involved in repairing and modifying a variety of equipment and systems that achieve regulated climatic conditions. This work requires a knowledge of principles of air conditioning, the ability to recognize and determine the best method for correcting malfunctions, and the skill to make repairs to a variety of air conditioning and cooling unit systems.

Qualifications. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in the following: ability to supervise; aptitude for work with prisoners; knowledge of equipment, assembly, installation, repair; technical practices; ability to interpret instructions, specifications; ability to use and maintain tools and equipment; knowledge of materials; troubleshooting.
