Description:	This is a 1976 photograph of a “Mosquito fish”, Gambusia sp., preparing to ingest a mosquito larva. These tiny fish can eat their own weight in mosquito larvae each day, and have been introduced into water ways throughout the world in order to aid in control of mosquitoes, especially where malaria and yellow fever are a threat.
