SECO Policies/Regulations -
SAFETY
The development and implementation of internal controls is a fundamental
building block on which an accountable program is established and maintained.
NOAA's Safety and Occupational Health policies/manuals provide specific
guidance on program responsibilities and requirements applicable throughout
NOAA. These policies are developed through a concensus process involving
a cross section of clients and staff and are maintained within NOAA's Office
of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO). This page also includes links
to DOC policies/manuals, Executive Orders and Federal regulations in order
to provide as much information as possible to answer your questions and
keep you up-to-date with environmental and safety requirements.
