Peter Lang, owner of U.S. European Trading Corporation, an indirect air carrier in Fort Myers, FL, was given two years on probation by a U.S. District Court judge in Fort Myers, for illegally shipping a used motorcycle on a passenger plane in violation of hazardous material regulations. A used motorcycle is hazardous because it contains gasoline. The investigation was conducted by OIG and the Transportation Safety Administration.
