The movement of people around the globe energizes cultures, fuels business and links us across national boundaries. But where are people going? The World Factbook’s data on net migration illuminate the flow of people around the world today.

The numbers below show national net migration rates*, the contribution of migration to the overall level of population change in a country.  Rates are the difference between the number of people entering and leaving a country during 2012, per 1,000 persons. more>
