EDGAR Form D XML Technical Specification (Version 7.6.1)

The EDGAR Form D XML Technical Specification provides, to those filers that are interested, a basis for creating XML Form D submissions without the use of the EDGAR OnlineForms/XML Website Form D application. Software developers, working on behalf of filers, can use this specification to construct software that will generate an XML Form D submission that can be successfully parsed by the EDGAR system.

EDGAR Release 12.1 introduced the following change to the EDGAR Form D XML Technical Specification (Version 7.6.1):

• The Form D stylesheet (D_X06.xsl) has been updated to replace the phrase "Section 4(6)" with the phrase "Section 4(5)". Form D schema (formDSubmission.xsd.xml) has also been updated to reflect the updated stylesheet version number. The name of the federal exemption in Table "4.22 FederalExemptionExclusionsList" in the document has been updated in support of this change. There are no changes to the schema other than the version number.
