Cynthia D. Jiles, RPh

Cynthia Jiles received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1984. Following graduation, Ms. Jiles worked as a staff pharmacist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, DC. Ms. Jiles then moved to Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC), where she worked for 21 years. She began her CNMC career as a Clinical Pharmacist, later focusing on oncology, where she was responsible for the preparation and dispensing of investigational and commercial agents to both inpatients and outpatients. In 2000, Ms. Jiles transitioned to the role of Investigational Drug Pharmacist, with responsibility for all investigational agents dispensed by the Pharmacy. Ms. Jiles obtained extensive experience reviewing protocols and Adverse Event reports while serving as a member of several CMNC Institutional Review Boards.
