Tali Johnson, RPh, Pharm D, BCOP
Senior Clinical Research Pharmacist

Dr. Johnson manages many investigational agents in support of NCI-sponsored cancer treatment trials as well as a variety of activities related to new drug development. Ancillary activities include co-editing Inside PMB, publishing in pharmacy journals and teaching pharmacy students on rotation.

She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Rochester. After spending almost a decade in molecular biology research studying various pathways involving oncogenes and DNA repair, she attended the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and graduated with a PharmD in 2002. She continued her education with two years of pharmacy post-graduate training at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States and National Institutes of Health. Dr. Johnson stayed on at the NIH Clinical Center Pharmacy Department working in the oncology satellite and monitoring bone marrow transplant patients. In 2006, she moved to National Naval Medical Center where she worked in the NCI-Navy Hematology/Oncology Clinic satellite pharmacy in support of NCI clinical trials and providing standard care to active duty personnel and retirees. She is board certified in oncology pharmacy.
