• Badges for Baseball - The U.S. Marshals GREAT program partnered with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation’s Badges for Baseball camp Aug. 25 in Aberdeen, Md. Director Clark, Acting Administrator Jeff Slowikowski of DOJ’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and Ripken Foundation board member Robbie Calloway kicked off the event. Several U.S. Marshals joined the Special Operations Group, the USMS K-9 program and the GREAT Deputy U.S. Marshals in making this a memorable camp for the young participants.

• Cowtown Rodeo - The kickoff event for the 220th anniversary of the U.S. Marshals Service took place in New Jersey. Marshals Dave Thomas and James Plousis attended the rodeo, riding out on horseback for the opening ceremony.
