On September 27, 2006, the Federal Trade Commission, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York, and the Manhattan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host a Hispanic Fraud Prevention Forum in New York City. The Forum, which will gather law enforcement and community leaders, will provide an opportunity to learn about the nature and extent of consumer fraud the Hispanic community is experiencing and to develop law enforcement and consumer education strategies for addressing these problems.

Please note: attendees must be screened through a metal detector before entering the facility. Please allow additional time to pass through security. Use the ground floor entrance to the right of the center staircase.

Forum Location
The Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, at One Bowling Green, is adjacent to the northeast corner of Battery Park, New York, NY. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority offers a subway map (PDF) , and below are the closest subway lines/stations:

    • 2 and 3 trains to Wall Street
