Common Questions:
Q: Where can I find out about job opportunites in WIC?

A: Several resources on our site allow you to look for opportunities with WIC. Visit our Jobs in WIC page to find several links that may direct you to job openings in WIC clinics across the country. Searching the WIC-Talk Archives may be helpful, as open positions in WIC are occasionally sent out via WIC-Talk, our electronic email discussion group. In addition, you can contact your state WIC office in regard to specific openings in your area.

Q: Are there copyright restrictions on materials in the Sharing Gallery?

A: Resources developed by government agencies are in the public domain (with recognition given to the developing agency) however we ask those interested in adapting materials from the WIC Works Sharing Gallery to contact the WIC State Agency directly as there are times when grant money is used and there are restrictions. Materials can be used as is for educational purposes without contacting the State Agency.

Q: How can I get my materials added to the Education and Training Materials Database?

A: We would be happy to review materials for addition to our database. Please email us to tell us more about your materials. Our team of Registered Dietitians will review the materials for appropriateness to our target audience (WIC staff and participants) and reply back to you with our findings. It usually does not take us more than a few days to review the materials and then if accepted we can go over the specific information that we need for the database.
