The 30th observance of National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) takes place April 18-24, 2010. Each April since 1981, when President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first National Crime Victims' Rights Week, communities across the Nation have held public rallies, candlelight observances, and commemorative activities to promote awareness of victims' rights and needs.

System Requirements

OVC screensavers are compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista operating systems. You will need Macromedia Flash Player 7 or better with your Web browser. Minimum system requirements are a Pentium II processor and 32 mb Ram.

How To Download and Install

For Windows/PC users:
To install an OVC screensaver on your computer, follow the three steps below:

1. Download. Click on the download link above for the OVC screensaver you want to download to your desktop or other downloads folder.

2. Install. Double-click the downloaded file. Click "Next," then select "Install." The screensaver will install itself and screensaver files will be placed on your computer.

3. Set up. After the installation is complete, you will have the option to make the screensaver your default. Leave the box checked if you want the screensaver to be your default.

To confirm that the screensaver is installed, either—

  • Right-click on your desktop and select "Properties," then choose the "Screensaver" tab. You should see all of your computer's available screensavers, including the new one you just installed. Click "Preview" to see it work.

    OR

  • Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel, double-click on "Display," and choose the "Screensaver" tab. You should see all of your computer's available screensavers, including the new one you just installed. Click "Preview" to see it work.

How To Uninstall

To uninstall or remove the screensaver entirely—

  • Open the Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel.
  • Select the screensaver.
  • Press the Add/Remove button.

To deactivate the screensaver, go to My Computer/Control Panel, then double-click "Display." Click on the "Screensaver" tab, then select either a different screensaver or "none."
