Apply to BrIDGs
Applications to develop potential therapies for any disease or disorder may be submitted to BrIDGs. Eligible applicant organizations include academic institutions, not-for-profit organizations and SBIR-eligible businesses. View the criteria for SBIR eligibility. Foreign academic and nonprofit institutions as well as NIH intramural researchers may apply.
The BrIDGs program accepts applications once a year. The next opportunity to submit an application to BrIDGs is between December 1, 2012, and February 1, 2013. All responsive applications will be reviewed concurrently. Final decisions are anticipated to be made by September 2013.
Applications must be submitted electronically via the proposalCENTRAL application system. If your organization has not registered with proposalCENTRAL before, it must do so before an application can be submitted. To access the BrIDGs application, you must log in to proposalCENTRAL and click on “Grant Opportunities.” Then search for “NIH – BrIDGs” and click “apply now.”
