Chehalis Tribal Code 3.1.2.130 mandates the Department to disseminate to the public specific information
contained in the registry. The Department chooses to meet this demand via this
web site.

Pursuant to Chehalis Tribal Code Section 3.1.2.040 members of the public are not
allowed to use the information to harass or threaten offenders or members of
their families; and harassment, stalking, or threats against offenders or their
families are prohibited and doing so may violate Chehalis Tribal criminal laws.

Chehalis Tribal Code 3.1.2.120,
Registration of Sex Offenders and Kidnapping Offenders
requires the Chehalis Tribal law Enforcement to develop, operate and maintain a
registry of persons who have been convicted of certain offenses.
“Sex offender” means any adult or juvenile residing on the Chehalis reservation,
whether or not the person has a fixed residence, or who is a student, is
employed, or carries on a vocation on the Chehalis reservation, who has been
found to have committed or has been convicted of any sex offense or kidnapping
offense in any jurisdiction including the Chehalis Tribal Court, or who has been
found not guilty by reason of insanity of committing any sex offense or
kidnapping offense, shall register with the Chehalis Tribal Law Enforcement
Office.
Pursuant to Chehalis Tribal Code those offenses are listed in subsection
3.1.2.120(h)(1)&(2)
