Research and Consultancy
Research is one of the core functions of the University aiming at generation and advancement of knowledge. MUHAS is one of the major institutions undertaking health research in the country and the research results generated have provided valuable evidence-based information for guiding the management, control and prevention of major diseases.
The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) announces its first scientific conference that will be organized with support from Sida and other development partners. We welcome all researchers, local and international, working in various areas of health to share their research findings with other stakeholders in this conference.
Strengthening Human Resource for Health Course
The University Library is the largest national collection of health/medical resources materials. Its main function is to provide Library documentation services to support health/ medical services, research and teaching at the University.
The University provides ICT services to academic staff, students, researchers and administrative staff. These services include e-mail services, internet services, telephone services, ICT training services, consultancy services,. 
MUHAS maintains links with various partners locally and internationally. The links involve international organizations in which collaborative research and consultancies are prominent. 
MUHAS Alumni section aims to take a leading role in the promotion of active leadership in the community by fostering interaction among the alumni, in the student community, families, friends and industry.
