Prevention Advisory Group Reports, Recommendations, and Charter

The Advisory Group offers recommendations to the members of the National Prevention Council and advises them on effective, evidence-based prevention and health promotion practices. As part of the Advisory Group’s meetings held between October 2011 and April 2012, ad hoc work groups were created to gather and review background information to develop recommendations for the National Prevention Council. The advisory group presented its first report of recommendations to the National Prevention Council on November 29, 2011.
