Trends – Partial nephrectomy increased rapidly, APC = 13.2 percent, from 2000 to 2004 and increased more slowly from 2004 to 2008. There are no Healthy People targets for cancer treatment, including kidney cancer treatment. The use of partial nephrectomy should be encouraged when appropriate.
