Therapeutics Research Working Group (TRWG)


The NIH AIDS therapeutics portfolio includes a broad range of research efforts from basic drug discovery and drug development through clinical efficacy trials. The Therapeutics Research Working Group (TRWG) will assist the OAR and the NIH in the following activities:


TRWG members will be appointed by the OAR Director and chaired by an OARAC member with expertise in either drug discovery or clinical trials research. TRWG members will include representatives from academia, industry, and community constituency groups. The Chair of the OAR Therapeutics Coordinating Committee will staff the TRWG and serve as its Executive Secretary.
