Roth TSP: Active duty Army, Navy and Air Force members can find forms, worksheets and instructions to add this option to their retirement investments beginning Oct. 1. Reservists and Guardsmen: Your date to start contributions has changed and will now occur during 2013. This timeline ensures systems changes and electronic deductions meet all of the requirements of the law and the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. Attention Government Travelers: Don't get stuck at the airport without a ticket! Beginning October 1, 2012, if your travel authorization includes a domestic flight it must be approved and ticketed at least 72 hours in advance of your departure to avoid a reservation cancellation. Electronic Funds Transfer: A Treasury mandate requires us to pay our customers by electronic funds transfer beginning March 1, 2013. Most military members, retirees and civilian employees getting paper checks will have to set up direct deposit.
