Director’s Challenge Lung Study

The Director’s Challenge Lung Study is a dataset available to the public, hosted by the NCICB caIntegrator portal at https://caintegrator.nci.nih.gov/caintegrator/. This lung study comprises gene expression profiles acquired on Affymetrix microarray chips from more than 400 specimens of early-stage lung cancer, with associated clinical and pathological annotation. This dataset was constructed by a CDP-supported consortium of investigators at the University of Michigan, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group. It was used to develop a set of models combining gene expression measurements with clinical data to predict patient outcomes. It is now available to the research community for use in the development and testing of new models.
