GSS Initiative—Working Groups

Ten working groups have been formed for the GSS Initiative to begin the planning and research efforts. Membership includes staff from the Census Bureau's Geography Division, other Census Bureau Divisions, and the US Postal Service (USPS), US Geological Survey, and the National Geodetic Survey. The groups are:

• Feature Coverage and Sources
• Quality, Assessments, and Evaluations
• Partnerships
• Research and Development
• Geocoding
• MAF/TIGER Integration/Linkage
• Global Positioning Systems (GPS)
• Project and Contract Management
• Policy
