Collaborations and Funding Opportunities
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is establishing a collaborative network of Physical Science-Oncology Centers (PS-OCs) to conduct research that will collectively advance our understanding of the underlying physical principles that influence the emergence and behavior of cancer.
Working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams, experts from physics, cancer biology, physical chemistry, mathematics, and engineering will help to develop the infrastructure, capabilities, and research program required to converge the physical sciences with cancer biology and oncology.
Through the PS-OCs, the NCI provides research funds to broadly support the mission of the Institute.
