Learn to help. Learn to heal. Learn to elevate Veterans care.

Department of Veterans Affairs has academic affiliations with thousands of colleges and universities across the Nation, and many of our health care professionals hold faculty positions at these institutions. We are pleased to be an integral component of so many young professionals' medical training, and are proud that more than 90,000 undergraduate and graduate students complete their clinical rotations and residencies at our health care facilities.

And, we’re even happier that many of these medical students choose to extend their relationship with VA by accepting permanent positions with us. If you’re interested in learning more about educational programs and affiliates, clinical trainee programs or VA staff, visit the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Academic Affiliations website to learn more.
