Success takes planning. This section includes resources that can help you prepare for and host your Town Hall Meeting, whether you are a new or experienced event holder. If other materials would support your event, please contact us at info@stopalcoholabuse.net. Resources are:

• Training materials are designed to help you host an action-oriented event.
• Planning offers you guidance on planning an action-oriented event, such as general step-by-step directions to event hosting, presentation planning, and use of social media to expand public outreach.
• Background Materials links you to documents and Web sites that provide a wealth of information about underage drinking and its consequences. Use this information to create materials that will educate and engage your event audience.
• The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA's) Welcome Video Resource Disk is available in English and with Spanish subtitles from info@stopalcoholabuse.net. This broadcast-quality DVD includes a 60-second introduction from Frances Harding, Director of SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Prevention; a regionally customized underage drinking prevention video: Time To Listen, Time To Act; and regionally specific State/Territory videos.
