Telling Your Story |

Leaders from the WMR Community will facilitate a WMR experience for people who want to share their stories of recovery and wellness. Everyone has a story to share, but sometimes we need help getting our thoughts and feelings into words, art, music, or dance. This will be a deliberative process where participants can explore creative ways to engage others in the stories of recovery and wellness. |

"On the Journey Together for Recovery, Resiliency and Wellness" |
Description |
King County is sponsoring a recovery conference, "On the Journey Together for Recovery, Resiliency and Wellness," in which approximately two-thirds of the participants will be people in recovery. There will be 35–40 presentations regarding recovery, resiliency and wellness, attended by persons in recovery who experience mental health and/or substance use challenges, and persons who work in the behavioral health system. Adults and youth who participate in services as well as parents of children who are enrolled in services in King County are welcome to attend. Our goal is to present each attendee with information that will enhance their own strengths and resiliencies and to create a wellness culture within the King county mental health and substance use disorders treatment system.
