The DoD offers tax preparation assistance through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) Program, an installation-based program, and MOS tax consultants are available to service members and their family members year-round. Also available to service members and their familiy members is the free online tax preparation service H&R Block at Home® Basic.
