– Matt Waite, developer for the Tampa Bay Times, on the balancing act at the Journal News which recently published the names and addresses of handgun permit holders in a few New York counties. Waite helped create a mugshot website for the Tampa Bay Times, but the paper went to lengths to avoid mugshots appearing as a first hit when someone’s name is searched, and creating URLs that expire every 15 mintues.
