The National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) sponsors this topical resource on identity theft, covering statistics, legislation, publications, programs, training and technical assistance, and grants and funding. Identity Theft, 2004. The Bureau of Justice Statistics recently added identity theft to its National Crime Victimization Survey. Its report based on 2004 data was released in April 2006.
