Upcoming SSL Certificate Upgrade for ITP

On August 19th, 2011, the Data Bank migrated its current SSL Certificate to an updated SSL Certificate to promote improved security for all system users. ITP and QRXS users must upgrade their Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 1.6.0_19 or higher. IQRS users will be unaffected by this change. A connection error associated with the SSL Certificate will occur if a version prior to 1.6.0_19 is used.

The latest version of the JRE is available from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html exit disclaimer. If an upgrade to 1.6.0_19 is not possible, a cacerts file is available below. Users must replace the existing cacerts file in their JRE's lib/security directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\security or C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_12\jre\lib\security) to successfully execute the ITP application.

What About ITP?

The ITP (Interface Control Document (ICD) Transfer Program) is being phased out and replaced with the Querying and Reporting XML Service (QRXS). ITP software vendors and users should plan to migrate to the QRXS.

During the transition from ITP to QRXS, you can continue to access the following:

Note: You need a Vendor ID to access the file format specifications. If you do not have one, you may create one on the Sign In page for Software.
