The Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) is the Army's premiere transition program designed to assist Soldiers, Retirees, Veterans, Department of the Army civilians and their eligible family members, as they leave active duty for the civilian job market. ACAP provides pre-seperation counseling and a wide range of transitiion and job search information, both online and at ACAP Centers. Your ACAP counselor is available both in the ACAP Center and at a distance by phone or email to offer guidance, information, assistance and referrals throughout the entire transition and beyond.

Below ARE YOUR ACAP REQUIREMENTS:

Pre-Separation Counseling/IC - Completion 18 months but NLT than 12 months prior to Separation.
Department of Labor (DOL TAP) Employment Workshop - Completion after Pre-Separation counseling, but NLT 10 months prior to seperation.
VA Benefits Briefing - Completion after Pre-Separation counseling, but NLT 5 months prior to separation
Completed Resume - Complete after DOL Workshop but NLT 5 months prior to Separation
