2010 Committee on Space Research International Cooperation Medal


Lee-Lueng Fu, project scientist for the Ocean Surface Topography Mission and the Jason mission, has been named a recipient of the 2010 Committee on Space Research International Cooperation Medal.

The medal is awarded once every two years to a scientist who has made a distinguished contribution to the application of space science and whose work has contributed significantly to the promotion of international scientific cooperation.

Fu, a JPL fellow and senior research scientist, has been with the Laboratory since 1981.
