Data Analysis

Using earlier NHANES surveys, scoring algorithms are being developed to convert responses on the DSQ to estimates of intake for:  fruits and vegetables (cup equivalents); fruits and vegetables excluding French fries (cup equivalents); added sugars (tsp); added sugars from sugar-sweetened beverages (tsp); dairy (servings); whole grains (servings); fiber (gm); and calcium (mg).  These algorithms will be developed for each sex and for multiple age groups within each sex.

Scoring algorithms for several of the exposures are available. Additional scoring algorithms will be posted as they become available
