The Heart Truth and Million Hearts™. The NIH's National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is aligning ongoing campaigns and activities including it's The Heart Truth campaign and continuing medical education materials with Million Hearts™. The Heart Truth is a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease. The NHLBI leads the nation in a landmark heart health awareness movement that is being embraced by millions who share the common goal of better heart health for all women.

Clinical Practice Guidelines. The NHLBI is supporting a new, five-year $9.85 million contract for a National Program to Reduce Cardiovascular Risk focused on implementation of clinical practice guidelines to reduce CVD risk factors.
