American Heart Association (AHA) is committed to helping monitor the initiative's efforts and progress towards achieving the goals of Million Hearts™. AHA is also providing consumers with access to their heart health management tools, including My Life Check and the Heart Attack Risk Calculator. Thousands of Americans have already accessed these lifesaving tools through the Million Hearts™ website. AHA is also committed to working with federal agencies to work towards greater harmonization of clinical indicators measuring the ABCS. Additionally, AHA will continue to inform and educate researchers, physicians, health care providers and public health partners on the Million Hearts™ initiative and opportunities to join the effort. The AHA is also committed to working with community health centers and quality improvement organizations to disseminate best practices, measure and improve clinical performance in the ABCS, and address health care disparities that exist in care delivery.
