The Ohio State College of Nursing's mission is to revolutionize healthcare and promote the highest levels of wellness in diverse individuals and communities throughout the nation and world through innovative and transformational education, research and evidence-based clinical practice.

During National Heart Month, Ohio State University kicked off its support for Million Hearts™ by offering free biometric health screenings to approximately 250 faculty, staff, eligible partners and spouses, and informed the Central Ohio community about cardiovascular health. More community screenings and education sessions are planned throughout the year.

OSU's long-term commitment to Million Hearts™ includes a collaboration by the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, the Office of Human Resources and other healthcare disciplines to develop a Million Hearts™-focused model for how diverse disciplines can work together to improve heart health.
