DOJ’s Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative (Global) Privacy and Information Quality Working Group (GPIQWG) is working to develop resources and guidance for justice agencies to ensure that procedures and policies regarding the collection, accuracy, use, sharing, and retention of biometric information address privacy, civil rights, civil liberties, and information quality concerns.
