About NITAAC

NITAAC is a federal Executive Agent authorized by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to administer three Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) for information technology procurement. CIO-SP3, CIO-SP3 Small Business and ECS III can be used by any federal civilian or DoD agency to acquire information technology products, services and solutions. The office is housed within HHS at the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC).

  • Streamlined ordering and procedures under FAR Subpart 16.505 save time, money and resources
  • Secure, web-based ordering systems automate competition, management, awardee selection and notification
  • Best available ceiling rates negotiated at master contract level; task/delivery order competition drives rates even lower
  • Orders placed directly by agency with end-to-end management by procuring CO. Customized terms, conditions and additional labor categories, products and services are easily added at task/delivery order level
  • Agile and flexible in support of contract types, modular contracting and CONUS/OCONUS procurements

  • Complimentary SOW/PWS/SOO assessments; requirements are evaluated for scope, clarity and other factors to assure quality responses, and returned to customers within one day

  • Free training on the NITAAC program and systems; 2 CLPs awarded
