The award and administration of grants and cooperative agreements are subject to applicable laws, regulations, and policies. The Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Grants Policy Statement compiles the salient features of policies and various policy issues and applies to budget periods with start dates on or after October 1, 2006 (FiscalYear 2007).
Parts I-III of the HHS Grants Policy Statement, which can be downloaded below, are common to all HHS agencies. Part IV will be unique for each agency, and AHRQ's section has not been finalized.
