Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Question: Does the Department of Labor publish reports on international child labor issues?

Answer: Yes. Since 1994 the Department's International Child Labor Program (ICLP) has published eight reports exploring various aspects of international child labor. These reports have been widely distributed in the United States and abroad. ICLP's annual report research also is used as the basis for the Department of Labor's findings regarding the criteria on the worst forms of child labor established by the Trade and Development Act (2000). These reports are available from the ICLP Web site.
