Storage Area Networks

Program Overview
This course will assist IT Examiners in understanding storage concepts, components, and working on a networked storage environment.

Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to describe storage and network technologies, identify storage system components, identify disk technologies, describe storage architectures, describe FC SAN, describe storage network implementation, identify storage virtualization concepts, technologies, and techniques, examine storage network management, and describe ways to secure a storage network.

Instructional Format
Hands-on computer lab combined with lectures and class discussion.

Duration
Three days.

Intermediate

Target Audience
IT Subject Matter Experts and IT Examiners.

Prerequisites
Participant should have attended ITEC and all Basic Level courses.
