Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
CPSC ensures the privacy and confidentiality of the information we collect on members of the public, business partners and our employees. We collect, maintain, use and disseminate identifiable personal information only as authorized by law and as necessary to carry out agency responsibilities. CPSC staff has created PIAs for computer systems and applications to identify and mitigate any risks these systems may pose to personally identifiable information.
