Use of Pop-Ups in SDI

The SDI application makes use of pop-ups to support its functionality. The pop-ups in SDI are not advertisements like the ones commonly used in commercial web sites. However, SDI pop-ups are implemented using the same techniques, and therefore they will be disabled by pop-up blocking software.

SDI will not function properly if its pop-ups are blocked or disabled.

If you have any pop-up blocking software installed on your computer, please make sure that at least one of the following is performed before using SDI:

  1. Disable the pop-up blocking software for the browser that you are using to access the SDI web site.

  2. Override the pop-up blocking software by adding http://www2.fdic.gov/SDI/ as a trusted site in the allow list.
To add a trusted site using the Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
    1. Open your internet browser.
    2. Select Tools
    3. Select Internet Options
    4. Click on the Privacy Tab
    5. Click on "Sites"
    6. Enter www.fdic.gov into address or website
    7. Select "Allow"
    8. Select OK.
