Edwin Land came up with a plan to create a camera that would produce finished photos in minutes, instead of hours or even days.
February 2013 - The first instant camera, known as the “The Polaroid Land Camera,” was invented by photography innovator Edwin Land. Land was born in 1909 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and was fascinated by optics from an early age.
