Building Blocks Know Kit and Character Cards
Several of the Lesson Plans in the Educators section use the Building Blocks Know Kit Cards (ages 3-4 or ages 5-6) (PDF) and Character Cards (PDF) to illustrate the concepts in the classroom activities. Use them to help children see the many ways that people may feel and react to different situations, and to model healthy decisions and behaviors.

Using Building Blocks Within Your Curriculum
We've made sure that Building Blocks supports the curriculum you teach. The suggested activities and materials in the Educators section not only reinforce preventive factors but also fit within your curriculum. We have aligned each Building Blocks product with the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework and the National Standards for kindergarten and first grade.
